Why More People Are Choosing Holiday Photo Cards This Year

By Reader

Tis’ the season; no its not to early to be thinking about your holiday photo cards this year. Within the last 5 years photo cards sales have increased by 5%. Why do you think more people are choosing family photos to send to their family? Because St. Nick told them too? I think not.

There could be several reasons however the most prevalent one is because a picture says a thousand words. A memory of your family is priceless and on this very special day what better gift to give than a loving,  happy memory.

Here are two  valuable things to remember when giving an important  gift like this:

1.] Remember it should be a happy moment: Remember that the photo you send on your holiday greeting card could be there for many many years. So it is important to ensure that their photo or video greeting card is one that they will cherish.

2] Remember to customize the Holiday Greeting Card: Many people pick one photo or video and send it to everyone. This is still a thoughtful gift however it will make the holiday even more special to the receiver if it is customized for them. Choose a different photo for your  holiday card for each person on your list. Remember though it may take a lot longer the thought will go a long way.

In these hard economic times it is growing harder and harder to manage our annual Christmas list. This is a great  way to spread your holiday cheer without damaging your pocket book. Learning all the great Video cards and Holiday photo card giving ideas will help you minimize your list and put a smile on everyone’s face this year. Start crossing those names off early and spread a little Christmas cheer this year with a gift that says a thousand words.

And remember that “It’s the thought that counts!”
